The Mohawk Hudson Cycling Club consists of 800 (or so) members who mostly live in the Capital District area of eastern New York State. MHCC sponsors road and mountain bike rides for beginning through experienced riders within an approximate 80 mile radius of the Albany-Troy-Schenectady area.

MHCC RIDE CALENDAR

Saturday, May 12

  • 9:30 a.m., Multi-Pace Ride (hilly) 23.0 miles — Shell Inn, Hill Towns Tour — A hilly ride through the beautiful rural Helderberg Mountains with views of the Catskills. There is a total gain in feet (TGIF) of 1,360 ft., so only the stronger riders should try this. Actual pace 13-15 mph. Multiple paces are invited with the ride leader leading from the rear. No one will be left behind. Cell phone (461-6172) just before the ride. Actual rain cancels ride. — Shell Inn (On Route 85 in Rensselaerville. 22.0 miles South of the intersection of Route 85 and the Thruway . It is on the right.
