The Mohawk Hudson Cycling Club consists of 800 (or so) members who mostly live in the Capital District area of eastern New York State. MHCC sponsors road and mountain bike rides for beginning through experienced riders within an approximate 80 mile radius of the Albany-Troy-Schenectady area.

As some of you know in 2001 I published a mountain bike guide to the Adirondacks that had 25 rides in it. After 2001 I also wrote up several additional rides for Adirondack Sports and Fitness. I have updated the guide and it is now available free as a pdf dcoument. It can be downloaded from

There are now 37 rides. The guide is in living color. The guide also includes some information on easement lands. Since Dave Beals aka Bealsy got the first copy of the printed guide I suppose he should get the first download - check with him before downloading Smile Please use and have fun!

I have ridden a few of these trails myself (particularly the ones around Lake George) and your selections are fantastic!

It was very generous of you to provide this excellant resource for those who like to get out and do some mucking, rocking-and-a-rolling, up-and-down and all-around in the woods! Very Happy
