Any MHCC members doing the 100 mile ride on Sunday?

My riding partner (who talked me into the century) has bailed out on me.

Is there going to be any sort of MHCC tent or meeting spot for pre/post ride gatherings?

Thanks.

check out this link:

It is the MHCC page for the Tour. You might need to contact the individuals listed to see what their plans are.

Thanks. I can't find a way through that link to contact them.

No worries. I'll just join up with some people at the start if I can.

If you are a MHCC member and if they are MHCC members, you can use the MHCC module here to pull down a roster and find their email addresses.

Our security requires that you be a MHCC member to get into the MHCC membership module ... just checked and you (Chico) are so you should have no problem. We don't like to post emails in a public place because email harvesters will extract them and use them to send spam.

I know this may be overkill for what you are after but I thought I would mention that the capability exists.

Thanks for that info. Could come in handy for future rides.

Finished my first century yesterday. I met some good people along the way. So it actually worked out well because I didn't feel like I was slowing anyone down or obligated to wait for anyone either.

Started out with the hammerhead group for the first 20 miles and then regained my senses and decided to ease up a bit. Then rode with three people, one of which had a cool ipod/speaker strapped to his back. Nice people and good music.
From mile 55 to the end I met various groups and solo riders.

All in all a great time and I was happy to get my first century on the books.
