The Mohawk Hudson Cycling Club consists of 800 (or so) members who mostly live in the Capital District area of eastern New York State. MHCC sponsors road and mountain bike rides for beginning through experienced riders within an approximate 80 mile radius of the Albany-Troy-Schenectady area.

My fiance began riding with me last year, and asked if we could check out tandem riding this year.

I'm wondering if anyone local has a road tandem hanging out in their garage that isn't being used anymore. I'm surely not looking for anything super expensive, since we may not end up enjoying it as much as we think we will.

As far as geometry... I am 6'2 and she is 5'7, so we need something with some size....

I'm looking for spend around $500, or trade my 99 LeMond Zurich plus cash for something a little better.

Send me a message if you have anything or know of anything around the area that may fit the bill.
